Privacy Policy

This site is maintained by the Washington Office on Latin America, a U.S.-based nonprofit human rights research and advocacy organization. This site is separate from WOLA’s main site ( because of the need for additional functionality, like searching for entries across five categories (geography, agency, abuse type, accountability status, victim classification). WOLA maintains it for educational purposes, and does not track more than basic analytics data about users.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

WordPress, the platform on which this site is built, also does some analytics that we haven’t bothered to turn off, but almost never consult.
